The Challenge

Solace Wellness had built a loyal following in-studio, but their visual identity hadn't kept pace with their growth. The existing logo felt dated, their color palette shifted from one touchpoint to the next, and packaging for retail products looked like an afterthought rather than an extension of the experience clients loved. Leadership knew the brand needed to feel as calm and considered as the studio itself, without losing the warmth that made people keep coming back.

Our Approach

We started with two weeks of discovery: sitting in on classes, interviewing longtime members, and mapping every place the brand showed up, from signage to email footers. From there we built a flexible identity system anchored by a soft, warm palette and a custom wordmark designed to feel handcrafted rather than corporate. Every decision was tested against a simple question: does this feel like walking into the studio? We extended the system across packaging, signage, apparel, and every digital touchpoint, documenting it all in a guidelines file the internal team could run with long after launch.

The Result

The rollout landed exactly as intended. Members and first-time visitors alike described the new look as "exactly right," and the studio saw a noticeable lift in brand recall among their target audience within three months of launch. Retail product sales in-studio also ticked up, something the team attributes directly to packaging that finally matched the quality of what was inside.
