The Challenge
Verve Studio had built a genuinely powerful creative tool, but their old site described it in feature lists and technical jargon that made sense to the team internally and to almost no one else. Visitors bounced within seconds, and the few who did explore further left more confused about what the product actually did than when they arrived. Sales calls kept starting with the same basic question the website should have already answered.
Our Approach
We threw out the feature-list approach entirely and restructured the entire narrative around three core use cases that covered the vast majority of how people actually used the product. Each section paired plain-language explanation with a short product video showing the workflow in action rather than a screenshot with callout arrows. We also audited the sign-up flow, which had ballooned to five steps over time, and cut it down to a single step that let people start exploring immediately rather than filling out forms before seeing any value.
The Result
Trial sign-ups increased significantly in the first month after launch, and session data showed visitors spending noticeably longer exploring the product story before converting, a sign the new narrative was actually landing rather than just looking better. Sales calls also started further along, with prospects arriving already understanding the core use cases instead of needing them explained from scratch.
